Sampling prehistoric pottery in the Cucuteni Eneolithic Art Museum of Piatra-Neamț

In April 2022 the SUSTAIN team sampled hundreds of pottery sherds from Neolithic and Chalcolithic sites in the Neamț county. The analysis of absorbed lipids in the pottery samples will give information about the subsistence and animal husbandry of some of the first farming communities in the area.
